about
mixtapes for movies, tv, and anime. make one, say why each title is on it, pass it on.
what we keep
one id number from the account you log in with (google for now) so we know it's you, the handle you pick, a member number if you were one of the first 500, and what you do here: tapes, notes, lurks, seen marks, owned marks, the people you lurk, the top 10 you pick from the people who lurk you, the titles you drop into other members' boxes and the ones dropped into yours, your news list, and the services you say you pay for. that's the whole list.
seen marks and your services list are yours. nobody else sees them.
who you lurk is private. only you see the names, and everybody else sees a count. if you switch it on in settings, your handle can show on the stores of the people you lurk, and they can pick you for their top 10. we keep no record of who opened a store or when.
the drop box is public. what a member drops you, who dropped it and their line show on your store to anyone who opens it. you can toss any of it, and you can close the box in settings. your news (drops, top 10 picks, notes on your tapes) is kept for 30 days and then deleted.
owned marks are the one exception. if you mark a title you own on your own tape, everyone who opens that tape sees a small label on the cover. nowhere else.
the first 500 accounts get a member number. it only shows next to your handle if you turn it on in settings. it is off until you do.
a list you paste to import is kept for a day so we can work through it, then deleted. it is never logged or shared.
delete your account in settings and all of it goes with you.
what we don't
not your name. not your email. not your picture. we don't ask google for them.
your country decides which where-to-watch list you get. it's read off each request and never saved to your account.
no analytics. no trackers. no ads. no ip addresses saved. one cookie to keep you logged in, two short ones while you log in, and one that lasts a day if you open a tape a member made before you have an account. it only says you were invited, not by whom. nothing gets sold.
